On today’s blog, I have a special treat. A very good friend of mine has written a day in her life — and she lives one of the most interesting lives I know of! She’s currently renovating a house in butt-f*ck-nowhere Japan that she bought after downing 2 bottles of wine with her husband while on vacation in Georgia. If you know her, you know it’s gonna be good. However, you’ll only be able to read it as a paid member, so sign the hell up dudes!
I wish this weren’t a typical day in my expat life — but this slightly bonkers day is not as extraordinary as one might hope. “Ordinary” is a word I don’t often use. “Chaos” gets thrown around a lot more. So does the word “aduh". In Indonesian, when it all goes a bit Pete Tong, one tosses up their hands up and says “Aduh!”
